Job Title: IT Portfolio Delivery Manager

As an IT Project Portfolio Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the IT projects and portfolios to support critical UK Défense programmes. This is your opportunity to contribute to pioneering projects that shape the future of Rolls – Royce

What you will be doing

Accountable for accepting the sub portfolio and project definitions, scope and requirements from the Head of Programme or Business Engagement Team to convert into and mobilise a project.
Plans, organise, coordinates and leads the sub portfolio and project teams, taking appropriate action where team performance deviate.
Ensures that project and quality plans are prepared and provides regular reports to stakeholders. Manages Quality Reviews.
Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against the subportfolio and project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders.
Manages escalations with stakeholders both internally and with any Supply Chain Supplier/Vendors.

P3M (Project, Programme, and Portfolio Management) or similar qualification in Project Management. Ideally Management of Portfolios / Managing Successful Programmes.
Project and Portfolio Management experience (for both Agile and Waterfall).
Experience of leading and working in a global business environment and managing distributed teams
Communication Management - to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to lead teams both internally and externally

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
